WHEEL OF FORTUNE'S 'SOUTHERN CHARM WEEK' PUZZLE SOLVE- 'WHEEL OF FORTUNE DEPICTS SLAVES IN PHOTO FOR SOUTHERN CHARM WEEK'

WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Wheel of Fortune game show has come under fire after a photo showing what appears to be two slaves in the background was used as a backdrop for the Southern Charm week, which premiered in March (episode has been re-aired in June).

It might be time to replace Pat Sajak and Vanna White with hosts that are awake and aware of their surroundings.

Why did the show even have this photo?

'Someone please tell me why @WheelofFortune has slaves in their 'Southern Charm Week' images?' wrote outraged Twitter user Joshua Itiola, who shared a short video of the rerun episode that featured the photo.

In the video, hosts Vanna White and Pat Sajak were seen discussing Southern Charm week as Itiola zoomed in for a closer look at the backdrop.

 The studios pitiful excuse:

The image of the two African-American women was captured by producers of the game show in 2005.

Producers were on a location shoot at the Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana, when the photo was taken

So then, WHY was the studio taking pictures/video of this nature for a game show? and posting them on a family show. Disgrace!!
